KEEL FISH – HORACIO SRFBRDS

Far from a retro trend, this type of board is already part of the catalog of many brands. Specifically, this model pays tribute to Steve Lis, Skip Frye and many others who contributed to designing new lines in the early 70s.

It is a very fast board that makes it easier to enter the wave and helps you get through the flat sections like no other design. Its parallel outline and the absence of a central keel favor top speed, but also a more modern setting of low rails and a simple concave with a little vee between the keels mean that it has surprising maneuverability without losing a style of wide lines and elegant that characterize a classic fish. It is recommended to use with fixed keel type keels in laminated wood.
